I also held our apartment's first Sunday brunch today-complete with whole wheat blueberry pancakes and sugar-free syrup. Hurray!
Tomorrow I am venturing to BuonItalia to check out what Chelsea has to offer me Italian market-wise. I hope to buy the best Havarti and Asiago in the city. Because I have standards...when it comes to cheese.
And also, I think this is the week. The week in which I finally get to see the mothership of all motherships, aka what I've been waiting for for years: TOS.
Lottery, here I come. Wish me luck, y'all.
In recent news,
Bridget flew in to NY yesterday for good. Tim will arrive shortly also.

· Ate Tacos La Paisa food three times.
· Tried Indian food for the first time. Finally.
· Spoke Spanish. ALOT.
· Only had Jamba once. Yay!
· Got a manicure & pedicure downtown for $21 with my roommates.
· Went on a 2-hour long grocery shopping adventure with my new wheeled totebag.
· Went to a water gun street fight by Union Square.
· Witnessed an actual brawl outside the A train.
· Purchased my first month long unlimited metro card.
· Saw The House Bunny.
· Attended another Brooklyn roof party at Helena's.
· Got way too drunk for my own good on Thursday. Trial run, bitches..
· Saw Susan & Heidi get interviewed at Seth Rudetsky's show at Don't TellMama.
· Tried soy milk for the first time. Then promptly bought chocolate soymilk.
· Met many Irish men at the bar.
· Met many nice, normal people, actually.
· Got alcohol delivered to my door. Well, actually Allison did. But it wasfantastic.
· Ventured pretty much everywhere but Queens throughout the week.
· Made lots of plans for this week!!! Including a Long Island boatingadventure!
I love where I'm at right now. Physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. I love not knowing what tomorrow or next week will bring. I love who I'm living with and my neighborhood and being three blocks away from my friends. I love not being in college anymore. I love being surrounded by people that think like me, and walk as fast as me and are passionate about the same things as me. I love where I'm living and that it feels like home---even moreso than my original home in Michigan did, which weirds me out that something could feel so right and I have this strange peace of mind all of a sudden.
I truly do not remember the last time I was this happy.
Ha, and apparently even the people who I talk to on the phone recognize that- all I hear from the Michigan folk is "I've never heard you sound this happy before!" This is it. And because I never want to move my shit ever again, I'm just going to die in the Heights. But first, I need to live one hell of a full life. Which is why I need to go to bed.
I love..lamp.
goodnight.
