Just give me the green light.

Opera is SO funny when it is set to the background of something chaotic going on in a film.
That is why in my next documentary, there will definitely be an opera tribute . . . possibly from the album "An Italian Songbook - Cecilia Bartoli" . . . which I have discovered thanks to my boss as I upload this extensive CD collection to ITunes.

It reminds me of that one scene in that ridiculous semi-recent Mr. Bean movie (Mr. Bean's Holiday) that my little siblings made me watch. Mr. Bean acts out this opera with this little kid to make money in the town square. Surprisingly, I laughed like a crazy woman. So did my 7-year old sister. Hilarious.
When I was watching the news this morning and it went to commericial, I realized something:
I would probably buy anything Sarah Jessica Parkers endorses. And I mean like, an-ee-thin-guh. I can't decide if that is sad or common among women my age.
This morning I'm also trying to apply my makeup and listen to the August Rush soundtrack . . . not a good idea as I'm crying off half of my makeup. I am SO glad Santa got me this CD for Christmas: it's fantastic.
I need to get my game on so I can grab a Dean & Deluca coffee before work!
DM out!
